Belén Codina is the Director of the Health Area at NITID Corporate Affairs, a position from which she develops strategies to foster relationships with public decision-makers and key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, working closely with the Directors of Government and Public Affairs.
She has an extensive career spanning over 20 years in the healthcare sector. She has served as Technical Advisor to the Ambassador on Special Mission for the International COVID-19 Crisis and Global Health at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Coordinator of the EU-LAC Health Alliance at the CSAI Foundation of the Ministry of Health, working closely with AECID and the European Commission to strengthen healthcare systems.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in innovative healthcare projects, with a strong focus on Public Affairs and Government Relations. She has distinguished herself as Associate Director for Health & Social Policy at Kreab and Senior Advisor for Health & Pharma at PwC Spain. Additionally, she has led the Economic Management of R&D&I Projects at Laboratorios Farmacéuticos ROVI, S.A.; served as Executive Director of the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM); and held the position of Head of Institutional Relations at HM Hospitales.
Belén Codina holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Santiago de Compostela, a Master’s in Financial Economics from ICADE, a postgraduate degree in Health Policy and Institutional Relations from IE Business School, and has completed the Promociona Program for Women in Executive Leadership at ESADE.
