Belén Codina is Director of the Health Practice at NITID Corporate Affairs, where she advises healthcare and pharmaceutical companies on the design of public affairs strategies and on their engagement with decision-makers and key stakeholders across the healthcare system.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, with a career spanning both the public and private sectors. She served as Technical Adviser to the Ambassador-at-Large for the International COVID-19 Crisis and Global Health at Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and as Coordinator of the EU-LAC Health Alliance at the CSAI Foundation of the Ministry of Health, working with AECID and the European Commission to strengthen health systems.
Throughout her career, she has held senior positions in consulting and in the healthcare sector, including Associate Director for Health & Social Policy at Kreab and Senior Advisor for Health & Pharma at PwC Spain. She has also led the economic management area for R&D&I projects at ROVI Pharmaceutical Laboratories, served as Executive Director of the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM), and worked as Head of Institutional Relations at HM Hospitales.
She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Santiago de Compostela. She also holds a Master’s in Financial Economics from ICADE, a postgraduate qualification in Health Policy and Institutional Relations from IE Business School, and has completed ESADE’s Promociona programme.
