Cristina Santos is a Senior Advisor at NITID Corporate Affairs in Brussels, where she advises companies and institutions on their engagement with the European institutions and on monitoring regulatory processes at EU level.
She has more than 15 years of experience in the European Parliament, where she built her career as a parliamentary adviser and chief of staff, gaining first-hand knowledge of the European Union’s institutional workings and legislative processes.
Throughout her career, she has worked in some of the most politically and regulatorily significant committees, including Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs; Constitutional Affairs; Employment and Social Affairs; and Industry, Research and Energy, as well as in special committees on foreign interference and disinformation.
She holds a degree in Law from the University of León.
