He began his career as a specialist in crisis situations in 1997 as head of Edelman’s Crisis Communication Department. During his 5 years as part of this US multinational, he worked for clients such as Repsol YPF, Air Liquide, Cepsa and Ferrovial.
Subsequently, he took charge of the Crisis Communication, Public Affairs and Environment Department at Llorente & Cuenca in 2002. From the end of 2003 until 2008, he was the executive director of the Crisis Management and Communication Centre (CGC), where he worked as a consultant specialising in crisis situations for the Ministry of Public Works, the Community of Madrid, Renfe, ADIF, Ferrocarriles of the Catalan Government, and Barcelona City Council, among other important organisations. In recent years he has been in charge of Crisis & Communications Response, the first Spanish platform specialising in crisis management and communication, where he has advised an extensive list of corporate and institutional clients on crisis prevention and management.
