Rubén Rodríguez is Partner and Director at NITID Corporate Affairs. He advises companies and institutions on navigating the political, regulatory and reputational environment.
He joined NITID in 2012 and has since worked with multinational companies and business associations on legislative and regulatory processes, contributing to initiatives such as the European Tobacco Products Directive, the General Audiovisual Communication Law and the Intellectual Property Law.
Between 2007 and 2012, he served as Deputy Director of Communications at the Regional Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid, where he was responsible for media relations and for advising on communication and institutional relations. He was part of the team in charge of designing and implementing the communication plans for the opening of 11 public hospitals and gained experience in crisis management.
Previously, he worked as an adviser in the Office of the Regional Minister for Employment and Women of the Community of Madrid and as a journalist in the International Affairs section of the newspaper La Razón.
He holds a degree in Journalism from Antonio de Nebrija University and a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Oviedo. He also holds an Executive Master’s in Marketing Management from ESADE and a Master’s in Digital Business (MIB). He further completed the Postgraduate Programme in Public Affairs Management (PDAP) run by NITID and Comillas Pontifical University ICADE.
