Between 2007 and 2012, he worked as deputy director of Communication for the regional Health Department of the Community of Madrid, where he was responsible for media relations and strategic advice on communication and institutional relations. During this period, he was part of the team in charge of designing and executing the communication strategy for the inauguration of 11 public hospitals in the Community of Madrid, and he specialised in crisis management.
Prior to that, he worked as an advisor in the Cabinet of the regional Minister for Employment and Women of the Community of Madrid, and also as a journalist for the newspaper La Razón (among other media), writing in the international section. He holds a degree in Journalism from the Antonio de Nebrija University, a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Oviedo, and was a student of the first promotion of MAS Consulting’s Postgraduate Course in Electoral Campaign Management in 2006. He holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from ESADE and in Digital Business (MIB) from the Instituto Superior para el Desarrollo de Internet. He completed his education with MAS Consulting and Comillas ICADE’s Postgraduate Degree in Public Affairs Management (PDAP).
